What a cutie! I wanted to get back to you... I really think you're doing such an amazing job right now, and you're already ahead of the game, so my advice right now is to just enjoy your baby boy. EI 1x a week sounds perfect, IMHO.
We also had EI starting at about 3 months. A teacher of the deaf came to the house to teach us about deaf culture and everything hearing loss related, and to work with Lucas. We started watching Signing Time (highly recommend!) and using signs with him. 6 months later, out popped his first sign - milk. You'll learn from the therapists and carry out what they teach you/suggest.
